Ganesha supports V4.1. There is limited support for V4.2 depending on the FSAL. Ganesha always supports READ_PLUS, however, only FSAL_GLUSTER, FSAL_VFS, and FSAL_GPFS will actually seek and provide NFS4_CONTENT_HOLE. These FSALs also support SEEK. ALLOCATE and DEALLOCATE are supported by FSAL_CEPH, FSAL_VFS, and FSAL_GPFS. IO_ADVISE is only supported by FSAL_GPFS. The rest of the 4.2 operations are not supported (though we appear to respond to LAYOUT_ERROR and LAYOUT_STATUS).

I would not guarantee there are no bugs in this code…

I looked at current code, but I know nothing has changed in this area since V3.5.
