Not really.  This is a distro issue, not a Ganesha issue.  You can
always build from source, but you'll need even more packages (namely the
-devel packages) to do that.  I'd expect distros to have the ability to
do this, but it may be complicated.  For example, this seems to be a
tutorial for doing this on Fedora:
