It is running as root. I see the following in 'aureport -a' output 309. 02/27/2020 13:37:28 ganesha.nfsd system_u:system_r:ganesha_t:s0 2 file open unconfined_u:object_r:var_log_t:s0 denied 728384

Could you check if there are any selinux denials reported.
