Only return OPEN_DELEGATE_NONE_EXT if delegations WANTed Only return OPEN_DELEGATE_NONE_EXT if one of the OPEN4_SHARE_ACCESS_WANT_DELEG_xxx flags is specified on the request, otherwise stick with OPEN_DELEGATE_NONE. The code will fill in delegation.open_delegation4_u.od_whynone.ond_why for any delegation rejection, however, the XDR will ignore that if delegation.delegation_type is OPEN_DELEGATE_NONE.
