There is community discussion of not doing V2.7.4 and instead getting V2.8.0 in the next week or two. V2.8 is really mostly bug fixes with some relatively non-disruptive features. Frank

Yes definitely products should use released versions. I think we could tag V2.8.0 in the next week or two. There is so little in it that isn’t bug fixes I don’t see a reason for a drawn out rc sequence.
