I'm not sure which wiki you're looking at that says that.
The wiki at https://github.com/nfs-ganesha/nfs-ganesha/wiki said 2.8.0.2
and 2.7.4 are the current 2.8 and 2.7 releases. (I just updated it to
2.8.1.1 and 2.7.5)
I think we're nearly ready to say that 2.7.5 is the last release on the 2.7
branch.

It'd be nice if one more 2.7.x release could be made, after Rungta's crashes with
V2.7.5 are figured out / fixed..
