I'm not sure. There's definitely issues with exporting an NFS mount via Ganesha
(use FSAL_PROXY instead). I'm not sure if the local cache FS will fix those issues.
Maybe it's worth trying?
In principal, you can export any FS that is sufficiently like a local POSIX filesystem
(which a local NFS mount is not).
There has also been talk in the past of reviving Ganesha's data cache in the form of a
stackable FSAL, but that would be a modest development effort and depend on someone
prioritizing development time.
