We don't use GSS. I configured the Ganesha build without it. Seems like the session
renewal failures have to do with something else? Thanks.

I'm sorry, I thought I had answered.
I'm not an expert in Proxy, so I can't say for sure. I'd expect GSS
creds to refresh transparently to Ganesha's client, but there may be a
bug there.

Did my answer help? My use case is that I'd like to have the
client mounts persist (until unmounted, or server goes down). What's the best way to
configure Ganesha to do that? Thanks.

Hi Daniel,
The clients I mean, are the ones that are mounting filesystems from the Ganesha
server (one for each Ganesha export). It is these mounts that are failing after 24 hours.
Will extending the Credential_LifeTime fix that? Thanks.

Credential_LifeTime defaults to 24 hours (86400 seconds). If you want
it set to something else, then it has to be done for each export, since
it's in a FSAL block.
Since this is proxy, "client" is an ambiguous term. Can you be more
explicit by what you mean by "timeout parameter for clients"? Which
client do you mean?
