Ganesha V4.1 will be released in the next few weeks. I suggest you at least
update to V4.0.9, especially if you can afford to update to the final V4.1
(which will just be a few more patches) within a week or two.
Ganesha V5.0 is targeted for January or so and will include:
Major LRU improvements
Proper support for async/non-blocking I/O with a FSAL_CEPH implementation
Support for HA Proxy
POSIX ACLs on FSAL_VFS (actually they will be in V4.1, but disabled by
default)
Prometheus metrics
Maybe some other bits
Surely some bug fixes

We are planning to upgrade from using Ganesha 2.5.4 to 4.0.0 in the coming
