Hello,
I am testing if v2.5 for FSAL Ceph
work with vmware client. For version 3.0, it works. But for version 4.1,
there is no tcp packets exchanged from server to client and connection
always timeout. Is it a known issue somehow? Is 4.1 supported for v2.5
and FSAL ceph.

It should be. The FSAL shouldn't have any effect on whether or not the
main protocol version connects. That never even gets to the FSAL level.
Does it work on VFS? I'd assume not.
We've tested VMWare against Ganesha at bake-a-thons in the past, so 2.5
has been tested against VMWare with Gluster (and probably VFS).
