It seems we released NFS-Ganesha 2.8.0, and 2.8.0.1 and 2.8.0.2 without
much fanfare.
I've updated the github wiki[1] to reflect our newest release.
There are packages available for the convenience of Ganesha users for a
number of Linux distributions: RHEL/CentOS 7[2], RHEL8[3], Fedora 29,
30[4], Debian[5], Ubuntu[6], and SUSE[7].
NFS-Ganesha 2.8.0 is included in Fedora 31/rawhide.
Starting with 2.8.0, NFS-Ganesha packages are now in their own Project on
OpenSUSE Build Service.
Starting with 2.8.0 NFS-Ganesha packages are now decoupled from the
GlusterFS packages in the CentOS Storage SIG to facilitate also building
Ceph features
(NFS-Ganesha was moved to its own PPA in Launchpad starting with 2.7.0.)
Most packages include most of the FSALs, include FSAL_CEPH, FSAL_RGW,
FSAL_GLUSTER, FSAL_VFS, and selected others.
